The Bridge<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/strong>After Meryon<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Bridge of Be-ing, all arches mirrrored upon
\nThe river running \u2013 Heraclitean ;
\nLooming above\u2026 turret trumpeting,
\nAll Barnonial excess, pure 19th century.<\/p>\n

And aligned in sheer proximity the great monolith
\nOf glass and concrete, its emphasis
\nPresenting a sheer 20th century existentialism.
\nSeen from the quays, it\u2019s pure Baudelaire!<\/p>\n

The candelabara of Street lamps whose
\nIlluminating auras burnish the passerby
\nGhosting them with their luminance, and lustre<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Fate drops like a Stone in the water
\nTroubling the stillness with ripples outward,
\nAnd whose faces Flow forever onward into the Dark Pool.<\/p>\n
